An Efficient and Robust P2P Live Streaming Overlay Network

Introduction

This project is to build an efficient and robus p2p live streaming system. The main idea of constructing a peer to peer overlay network in this work is to use the network coordinates of the participating nodes. To be specific, we first assign network coordinates to each participating hosts with many Euclidean embedding algorithms. We try to develop an overlay construction scheme that exploits the Euclidean Coordinates. We also investigate an efficient packet scheduling algorithms on top of the overlay network.
